Steps of Yoga Stretch For Neck & Shoulders
Warm-up
- Slowly drop your chin down to your chest.
- Lift it.
- Repeat it 5 times.
- Bring your head back to the center and move it side to side.
- Repeat it 5 times.
- Bring your head back to the center and drop your chin down.
- Draw a circle with your chin to the left.
- Bring your head back to the center.
Stretching
Back Stretch
- Place your hands on the sides.
- Lift your chest and bring the shoulder blades together.
- Bring chin to chest.
- Inhale lift the chest arch the back look up.
- Rounding the back as you exhale.
Upper Body Stretch
- Bring your spine back to the neutral position.
- Lift your arms and hug your elbows.
- Take inhale in the center and exhale bending to the right.
- Switch side.
Neck Stretch
- Come back to the center with inhale.
- Make a big circle with your shoulders.
- Extend your right arm a little bit to the side.
- Drop your left ear to the left shoulder.
- Switch side.
Cow Face Stretch
- Bring your head back to the center.
- Lift your left arm, and bend your elbow, with the opposite hand gently pushing the left arm down.
- Switch side.
Upper Back Stretch
- Bend your arms in front of your body. Bring the right arm underneath the left arm. Press the back of the palms together.
- Lift your elbows higher.
- Bend forward round in the back.
- Switch side.
Shoulders Stretch
- Roll your shoulders up and back interlace the fingers behind the back.
- Lift your chest higher.
- Pull your hands away from the back.
